VIP VoIP Companion App - Installation and Setup

Download the latest version of the Companion App from here:

In your web browser, select to run the installer. If the installer won't run it may be that you don't have administrator access. Please ask your IT department to install the app for you.

Click through the Installation process. Then click to start the app:

You will probably need to click to allow the app access to the internet:

When the app opens, click the button to start the provisioning process. This process will automatically configure the app to login to the VoIP server.

Then your browser will bring up the VIP VoIP portal so you can choose which extension to sign the app to.

Login with your details. If you do not know them, please get in touch with us.

After logging in, please choose the extension you wish to assign the Companion App to:

Once you have chosen and clicked save. The app will be provisioned automatically. Existing contacts from your VoIP Server will be automatically imported.

To configure your audio input and output settings. Click on the 'burger' menu icon and choose Options. Click the Audio icon.
